WSHG
Website for an interdisciplinary group tackling climate change through climate-smart agriculture, from irrigation to agroforestry.
Wesakhulila Self Help Group is a collaborative group of companies based in Kitale, delivering climate-smart agricultural solutions that build resilience against climate change.
Its work runs from water pumping to biogas, so the site had to make a technical subject simple for partners and communities. It explains five connected systems, shows the research behind them, and presents the products that come out of them.
What we built
- Five systems, one loop: Water pumping, vermicomposting, fertiliser trees, biogas and nutrient research, shown as one cycle.
- Our research: A section for the work behind the group's methods.
- Products: A showcase of vermicompost, organic fertilisers and year-round vegetables.
- News and media: Features and webinars, including a BBC feature on vermicomposting.
- Get involved: A clear route for partners and supporters to take part.
- FAQ and contact: Straight answers and direct ways to reach the group.
